Junior Achievement of Wisconsin (JA) is pleased to announce that BMO has made a $345,000, three-year donation, one of the largest gifts ever received by the non-profit organization. The donation provides $115,000 each year, beginning with the 2024-25 school year, and focuses on financial literacy education and skills-building lessons for underserved youth across Wisconsin.

As a speaker, you will present the same information 3 times to four different groups of students. Group sizes will range between 15 to 30 students per session. A teacher or parent volunteer will be available for help during your 30-minute sessions. Presentations can include a slideshow or videos but are not required.

JA Stock Market Challenge

As a volunteer, you'll help guide students through the JA Take Stock in your Future curriculum and apply it to the real world with a team of 3 - 4 students in a live simulation Competition. During the Competition you'll support them as they build their portfolio and spend 60 days in a fictional stock market to see how their investments perform. We are looking for volunteers as 'floor traders' too.

Wisconsin recently became the 24th state in the country to enact a law requiring high school graduates to complete a semester-long course in financial literacy. Wisconsin schools can fulfill this mandate with a semester-long curricula offered by Junior Achievement of Wisconsin.
JA Financial Literacy, part of the JA High School Experience courses, is a one-semester, teacher-led course that equips high school students with foundational personal finance skills.

For the third year in a row, UPS is supporting JA across the United States with its Start Small, Grow Big by the UPS Store campaign.
Through the Start Small, Grow Big program, customers across The UPS Store network of more than 5,000 locations can now make a donation to Junior Achievement upon checkout. All donations received will benefit Junior Achievement programs in the communities in which they are received.
